SimWorld: Live

Hello Simmers, and welcome to SimWorld: Live!  My name is Nathaniel Jackson the games guru with SimWorld.  If you have never heard of SimWorld: Live it is a fun place to hang out and watch fun game series like Cities: Skylines, American Truck Simulator, and our newest series Need For Speed.  What makes this popular is SimWorld: Live is interactive!

SimWorld: Live is typically a daylong broadcast, which airs primarily on Sundays seen on SimWorld Television, which is associated with YouTube, and SimWorld Television 2, which is associated with Twitch.  Our games will start on the main channel (YouTube) for two hours before heading to finish out on our second channel for an additional two hours.  When we say our broadcast is interactive, you can tweet in using #SWLive.  In addition, you can join the channel’s live chat.

Below is our on-air television schedule:

SimWorld Television SimWorld Television 2
Cities: Skylines 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
American Truck Simulator 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Need For Speed 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. 9:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.

Times listed are in the United States Eastern Time Zone

If you are doing the math, that is a total of twelve (12) hours of on-air time. Even for the hour break that I am off the air by the time we shut down, prep the channels for the next broadcast and step away there is only maybe 25-28 minutes to walk around, eat or do other stuff. Wow!

SimWorld TV – SimWorld: Live Chat Rules

Having the live chat is an opportunity for you to ask questions, provide feedback, in addition talk with our other viewers watching – but it comes with a great responsibility.  While on our main channel, you do not have to agree to the terms before chatting, on SimWorld Television 2 you do.  However, if you join at the start of the broadcasts you will see a notice reminding you to visit this page to be informed of the rules for the main channel.

Here are the respectful guidelines I ask for being a part of our chats:

  1. Please refrain from using ALL CAPITALS in the conversation. This is considered yelling and is not tolerated.
  2. Disrupting the flow of the chat in the room with profanity, or, impersonating someone you are not will get you banned quickly.
  3. Treat all viewers, or as I like to call you – Simmers with respect! In short order no attacks against someone’s race, religion, country, politics, gender, or sexual orientation.  Any attacks will be reported, and those parties involved will be placed in a timeout.
  4. Please do not solicit or advertise in the chat rooms. It is rude to Twitch, YouTube, FullScreen Entertainment and yours truly.

Remember let us make the community of SimWorld: Live a fun one for all of us!
